With the NFL Trade Deadline just over two weeks away, there are a number of big-name players who are rumored to potentially be on the move. Whether it's due to a team falling out of a contention, or a rift between the star player and management, there's a good chance at least one of these veterans finds a new home prior to the October 29 deadline.

While midseason NFL trades used to be a rare occurrence, we saw quite a few veteran NFL stars (Demaryius Thomas, Golden Tate, Dante Fowler and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix) get dealt last season. With that in mind, here are four noteworthy veterans who could be traded by the deadline.

4. Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami Dolphins

Cleary, the Miami Dolphins aren't afraid to trade away key players, as the team dealt offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Houston Texans just before the season began, and then moved defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Pittsburgh Steelers after Week 2. While several Miami players have reportedly demanded a trade following the Dolphins' rough start, Kenyan Drake's name has been floated around since the preseason. If the Dolphins can find a serious suitor and make good on their asking price, it's very likely they'd part with Drake.

3. Trent Williams, OT, Washington Redskins

The situation surrounding Trent Williams and the Washington Redskins has been awkward, to say the least. He has yet to play a down this season, and his absence isn't related to a contract dispute – he simply doesn't want to play for the Redskins. Williams has been adamant that the Redskins trade him, but the two sides have played chicken so far in 2019. While there has apparently been "no dialogue" between the two sides, according to Washington GM Bruce Allen, he also said that the team wasn't considering a trade. Still, the Redskins are going nowhere and the high-value return they can get for the 31-year-old All-Pro, the Redskins front office may may eventually fold and deal away Williams for the best offer prior to the deadline.

2. A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Similar to the Redskins, the Cincinnati Bengals are another 0-5 team on a road to nowhere in 2019. They have been without All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Green all season, and despite his health status, there have still been trade rumors involving the stud WR. The team most linked to Green has (obviously) been the New England Patriots, although the Philadelphia Eagles have also joined the fray as a potential trade partner. As soon as Green is healthy enough to play, there should be no shortage of teams interested in acquiring his services – it will all depend on the Bengals' reluctancy to deal away Green, who will become an unrestricted free agent after the season.

1. Jalen Ramsey, CB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jalen Ramsey's status on the Jacksonville Jaguars has been fraught with confusion, as it has involved everything from a trade demand, to the birth of his child, to a lingering back injury. He has missed two straight games and is questionable to return for Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints, all while the team's owner Shahid Khan has shot down trade talks, claiming that the plan is for Jacksonville to keep its disgruntled cornerback. It's uncertain how this all plays out, but the Jags could demand arguably the largest haul for Ramsey of anyone on this list. He's one of the league's elite shut-down corners and is still just 24 years old. The next few weeks should be exciting as we see how all of this plays out.
