Tuesday is the deadline for NFL teams to reduce their rosters to at least 85 players. The Buffalo Bills got a head start on this cutdown date, releasing four players on Sunday, including a notable lineman.

Now the Bills have parted ways with two more camp invites to shed their roster number further.

Cornerback Tim Harris and linebacker Marquel Lee were released on Tuesday, bringing the Bills' player total to 84.

Both players boast NFL experience, with Lee being the much more notable of the two. He entered the league as a fifth-round pick in 2017, going on to appear in 45 games and make 19 starts over the past four seasons. He most recently played in 11 contests for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021, recording 6 solo tackles.

Harris, meanwhile, was a sixth-round pick in 2019 by the San Francisco 49ers. After not playing as a rookie, he appeared in two games for the Niners in 2020, and he suited up in one contest for the Cleveland Browns last year.

With these cuts completed, Buffalo can now turn its full attention toward a preseason Week 2 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
