Holiday Bowl Predictions

Bleacher Report
Jake Rill of Bleacher Report gave his predictions for every bowl game against the spread, and he expects the Hawkeyes to cover down to a 1.5-point spread.

Washington Post
Neil Greenberg and Matt Bonesteel of the Washington Post also gave their predictions against the spread, but the spread was only 1.5 points at the time of their picks, with both experts backing Iowa to cover a 1.5-point spread.

Adam Rittenberg, senior writer at ESPN, expects this to be an incredibly close game, but had the Hawkeyes edging out the win in a spread push, 33-31, thanks to their experienced quarterback play with Nate Stanley.

Overall, all four of the experts highlighted above are taking Iowa to win the game straight up and to cover at least a 1.5-point spread.
