After a dominating three-game stretch through the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup Group Stage, the United States has turned its attention toward Spain ahead of Monday's Round of 16 Knockout Stage matchup.

USA vs Spain Odds

With USA winning Group F, and Spain finishing the Group Stage as the Group B runner-up behind Germany, the two are set to face off at 12 p.m. EST at Stade Auguste Delaune II in Reims, France on Monday. And according to FanDuel Sportsbook, USA is the heavy favorite to win with -260 odds, compared to Spain at +700.

USA was one of five teams to emerge from the Group Stage with a perfect 3-0 record, however, USA and Germany were the only two nations to win all three games without allowing a single goal.

Norway, Germany and England have already advanced to the quarterfinals with wins over the weekend, but the rest of the bracket is set to face off between Sunday and Tuesday, June 25.

As for recent matchups between these two nations, USA defeated Spain, 1-0, in an international friendly played on Jan. 22, 2019. USA is also now 5-0-0 (W-D-L) in its last five international matches, while Spain is just 1-3-1.

Spain's odds to win the World Cup are listed at +4600, while USA remains the betting favorite at +170. Even though USA is the heavy favorite, anything can happen in the Knockout Stage of the Women's World Cup.
