With the 2019 Kentucky Derby scheduled for Saturday evening, the field is pretty much set. There's always a chance that a few horses will drop out right before the race, as we've already seen Omaha Beach get scratched, but the major contenders have seemingly been established.

Kentucky Derby Start Time

The Kentucky Derby is scheduled to start at approximately 6:50 p.m. EST this Saturday, May 4. Now that we know who will be participating, let's take a look at the latest odds to win the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby.

With Omaha Beach now out of the race, Game Winner is the favorite with 9/2 odds, according to TVG. There's a two-way tie for the second-best odds to win the Kentucky Derby, with Improbable and Roadster both at 5/1.

These odds could continue to shift as we inch closer to the start of the Derby, but as things currently stand, Game Winner is the favorite.

Regardless of who ends up racing and which horse ends up winning, the Derby is likely to deliver on its claim to be the greatest two minutes in sports.
