Kyrie Irving remains suspended from the Brooklyn Nets after the team imposed a minimum five-game ban for him failing to initially apologize and condemn antisemitic material he shared on his social media.
Irving has now gone through a number of meetings with both the Nets, owner Joe Tsai, along with the league itself. ESPN insider Adrain Wojnarowski provided an update on when Irving might actually be back on the court, saying "There’s skepticism Irving will be in position to return to play as soon as Sunday vs. Lakers, or perhaps even Tuesday vs. Kings."
The Nets surely haven't missed Kyrie on the court during his suspension. The team is 3-1 in its last four games. Kyrie's original suspension minimum will be done after Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, so if that number still holds and Irving has satisfied the requirements set out by the league and team, technically he could be available.
