The 2021 MLB season may have only started a week ago, but the Minnesota Twins have already looked impressive to kick things off. With a 4-2 record, the Twins sit in first place in the AL Central division.

Keeping that in mind, Twins fans should be pretty excited as to where ESPN ranks the team in their latest MLB power rankings.

Preseason rankings had the Twins at the No. 6 spot, but their hot start has moved them up to No. 4. The next closest AL Central team to them on the power rankings is the Chicago White Sox at No. 12, which gives a good idea as to how impressive the Twins have been.

The Twins have been getting it done offensively, averaging 6.00 runs per game (tied for sixth). They've also been limiting their opponents' opportunities to score runs, allowing just 3.33 per game (tied for seventh). The Twins' starting pitching staff has looked reliable, as each of their five starters has an ERA of 2.61 or lower and have yet to record a loss.

FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds lists the Twins' odds of winning a World Series at +1800, which ranks them as having the seventh-best odds.
