Las Vegas Raiders star right tackle Trent Brown has been through the wringer this season. He has only appeared in two games (Week 1, Week 5), missing time due to a calf issue, testing positive for COVID-19 and a scary mishap with a pre-game IV.

But thankfully, it appears as if the stalwart right tackle is progressing toward a return. That's a huge development for Jon Gruden's team.

Brown reportedly has a chance to get back to working with the team as soon as next week. Considering he was reportedly projected to miss at least a month, it seems as if Brown is ahead of schedule.

And the Raiders need him back as soon as possible. Brown is one of the most reliable right tackles in football, grading out as a top-20 pass blocker in 2019, per Pro Football Focus. With Las Vegas gearing up for a real postseason push, potentially getting Brown back sooner than expected could be huge for this offense.

FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Raiders as -205 favorites to make the postseason and +162 to miss it, according to their NFL futures.
