Top Twins Prospect Suffers Major Injury After Getting Into Fight

The Minnesota Twins reported to their Spring Training facility at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, FL earlier this week and unfortunately are already dealing with a bit of training camp controversy.
Spring Training is the ultimate opportunity for top prospects around the organizations to leave a lasting impact, carve out roster spots for the upcoming campaign, and set up their futures for resounding successes.
However, one top Twins prospect made a name for himself, but not for reasons the Twins are excited about.

Pitcher Jordan Balazovic suffered a broken jaw due to an off-site altercation last week. The No. 16-ranked prospect in Minnesota's system completed a surgical procedure to repair the injury and will miss the beginning of camp.
Balazovic has not yet made his MLB debut but pitching through Triple-A last season, and was expected to contribute at some point on the major league roster in 2023.
For now, the Twins hold +3300 odds to win the 2023 World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook.
