Defensive scoring in fantasy football depends more on weekly matchups than maybe any other position. There are very few true, every-week starting options out there, and all but the absolute worst defenses can be viable if they're in the right matchup.

Every week there are plenty of defenses worth starting that are available on the waiver wire, and it pays to be vigilant in keeping up with the best weekly plays at the position.

With that said, here are the top three fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 14, all of which are available in at least 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues.

3. Tennessee Titans at Oakland Raiders (30% Owned)

Not an elite group in any area, the Tennessee Titans' defense does check in at 13th in takeaway rate and 17th in sack rate, leaving some room for fantasy upside. We've seen them produce especially well recently, averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game over the last five and posting 16.0 in Week 13. Their matchup with the Oakland Raiders is a tough one, but the Titans are 3-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, and they're a viable option if you're in a pinch.

2. Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos (27% Owned)

The Houston Texans are much bigger favorites, giving 9.5 points at home against the Denver Broncos. Rookie Drew Lock had a solid enough debut in Week 13, but the Broncos have allowed the league's seventh-highest sack rate this season, and if they're forced to go pass-heavy while playing from behind, that could cause some real issues. The Texans are the third-ranked defense in our Week 14 fantasy football rankings.

1. Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Redskins (49% Owned)

Checking in one spot ahead of the Texans in our ranks, the Green Bay Packers are even bigger favorites (13 points) in their matchup with the Washington Redskins. Since Dwayne Haskins took over as Washington's starting QB in Week 9, he has thrown for the same number of TDs and interceptions (two) while getting sacked 18 times. Washington has allowed top-six fantasy production to opposing defenses on the year, and the Packers are worth targeting as a top waiver wire option for Week 14.
