Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski just keep making history. One of the most dangerous quarterback-receiver (let alone tight end) duos in NFL history hooked up for the first touchdown in Super Bowl LV for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski Record

Brady's touchdown pass to Gronkowski was the 13th postseason touchdown connection between the two. That is the most for any duo in NFL history.

Heading into the Super Bowl, Brady and Gronk were tied with San Francisco 49ers legends Jerry Rice and Joe Montana, with both duos having 12.

This was also the first first-quarter touchdown pass Brady has ever throw in a Super Bowl. Heading into Sunday's game he had a combined 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the first quarters of his first nine Super Bowl appearances.

With a lead as the first quarter winds down, FanDuel Sportsbook's live Super Bowl odds still have the Buccaneers as 2.5-point underdogs.
