Titans Grab Biggest First-Round Steal in Todd McShay's Latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft

The Tennessee Titans look to get over the hump of back-to-back early playoff exits following 11+ win seasons. Fortunately, ESPN insider Todd McShay just released his latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft and has the Titans landing the steal of the first round.
Mock 3.0 is here! Lots of shakeups —including the Jags pick at No. 1 — due to Russell Wilson trade, franchise tags and post-Combine rankings movement. Have at it… https://t.co/xRmU1Nip73

McShay tabs Tennessee to select Iowa Hawkeyes center Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 26 overall pick.
Titans Mock Draft
Not only is Linderbaum a consensus first-round, but he's considered the third-best offensive lineman behind Evan Neal and Ikem Ekwonu. Many mock drafts show him going in the top-10, or at the very least top-15, so landing him at 26th is highway robbery.
Tennessee did not rate well on the offensive line, giving up the 11th-most sacks (47). Starting center Ben Jones enters free agency this offseason. While he was the most consistent member of Mike Vrabel's offensive line, the opportunity to land this can't-miss prospect is too good to pass up.
Linderbaum is a highly-effective zone blocker, which works on two levels in giving Derrick Henry more space and buying time for Ryan Tannehill under center.
