While the New York Mets stole all of the offseason headlines this week with their poaching of Carlos Correa, they weren't the only team to make moves.
One of those minor moves involved the Detroit Tigers, who claimed a young catcher off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Tigers claimed 24-year-old catcher Mario Feliciano from Milwaukee on Wednesday. He had be designated for assignment just last week.
Feliciano was drafted by Milwaukee back during the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft. He's spent the majority of his career in Triple-A, slashing .257/.315/.388 in 414 minor-league appearances.
In a corresponding move, the Tigers designated outfielder Bligh Madris for assignment.
