The Morning After: John Sheeran Discusses Fading The Public

On Thursday's episode of FanDuel’s The Morning After, a sports betting show on SportsGrid network featuring Ariel Epstein and Jared Smith, FanDuel Sportsbook’s Trading Director John Sheeran joined the duo to discuss the popular betting strategies of fading the public and line movements. Being just four weeks into the season, Sheeran thinks that the sample size is too small to lean one way or the other when discussing strategies. For Week Five of the 2020 NFL season, Sheeran believes that the lines are as close as possible to the result, but stated that the Thursday Night football game staying under with the Chicago Bears winning was good for the book.
