With Bananas having emerged victorious in the long-awaited clash between him and Wes, the entire dynamic of the show has shifted. Bananas has a red skull. His biggest competition is gone. He has a legitimate shot to do what Michael Jordan and Tom Brady haven't – capture a seventh championship.
Here at The Duel, we've been following along on Bananas' quest for Challenge immortality, providing fantasy picks and power rankings for each episode of MTV's "The Challenge: Total Madness." Here are our picks for Week 11.
The Challenge Fantasy Picks Week 11
It's a girls elimination week, and we're rolling with Jenny as our MVP pick. It looks like the confrontation between her and Dee could spill over into this episode, and that could lead to some solid fantasy production. From a purely statistical perspective, Dee is a viable pick as well. However, because of the offensive comments she made via social media, we won't be using Dee out of principle.
Again, it's a girl's elimination so we want to mainly center our lineups around the women of the show. But if you're going to include any guy, it should be Bananas. He's always a safe bet for screen time, and he'll likely be shown in the early going as he recaps about taking out Wes last week. Wes was also his biggest ally, though, so he will likely have to spend much of the episode politicking, searching for new partners. That should lead to a solid fantasy showing.
This season, Mattie hasn't been focused on like we've seen from her in the past. Call it a hunch, but with eight girls left that means there's a 25 percent chance Mattie is thrown into elimination. It's hard to imagine anyone taking Mattie out one on one, giving her some solid upside here.
