Texas A&M Opens as the Clear Favorite Against LSU

College football's rivalry week is upon us with Week 13 of the NCAAF season ready to kick off. One of the biggest matchups of the week will be played between the Texas A&M Aggies and LSU Tigers.
While LSU has won a majority of the games in the past, Texas A&M is favored to win this week's matchup at -265 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. On the other hand, the Tigers' odds of winning sit at +210 while the Aggies are also the 6.5-point spread favorites.

It isn't much of a surprise that Texas A&M is the favorite ahead of this weekend. The Aggies are the nation's No. 16-ranked team, having gone 8-3 up until this point. Meanwhile, a loss would hand the 5-6 Tigers their first sub-.500 finish since 2008.
LSU won seven straight meetings against Texas A&M from 2011 to 2017, however, the latter has won two of the last three matchups. After the Aggies won a thrilling 74-72 seven-overtime game in 2018, the losing side of the last two meetings has only scored seven points in each game.
Overall, LSU holds the head-to-head advantage with a 34–22–3 record over Texas A&M. Only time will tell if the Tigers can add onto that or if the Aggies will continue their dominance in 2021.
The Texas A&M-LSU matchup can be view on ESPN on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. EST.
