Teddy Bridgewater hasn't exactly put up the most jaw-dropping stats since taking over as the Saints starting quarterback for the injured Drew Brees, but he has done one thing - win.

Bridgewater's Saints are 2-0 so far this season, and they are also 2-0 against the spread (ATS). This isn't exactly uncharted territory for Bridgewater though, in his career he is 25-7 ATS as a starting quarterback, which is the best record of any QB with at least 15 starts in the Super Bowl era.

Bridgewater so far has 370 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception in his two games as a starter in 2019. While Bridgewater isn't exactly playing great, he is, theoretically, playing better than sportsbooks are giving him credit for, even going back to his days as the Vikings' starting quarterback.

Bridgewater and the Saints welcome in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Superdome on Sunday and the home team is 3-point favorites. If Bridgewater can continue to manage games, prevent turnovers and let the defense hold things down on their end, then New Orleans might be a much better bet to cover the spread then you would normally think from a team that lost their starting quarterback.
