Sun Belt Tournament Prediction

The Sun Belt Conference Tournament is shaping up to be pretty close up top, with Georgia State, South Alabama, Texas State and Appalachian State all sitting at +600 odds or better.

A lot of attention will be on Georgia State as the +270 favorite. The Panthers have won their last seven games, however, their 67.8 PPG (No. 244) leaves a lot to be desired offensively.

With that being said, Texas State is a great pick to win the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Bobcats are riding a nine-game winning streak and are an impressive 12-3 against their conference.

Texas State boasts one of the best scoring defenses in the country, surrendering just 64.6 PPG (No. 36) to the opposite. The Bobcats' offense could use some work (68.3 PPG, No. 235), but scoring hasn't been much of an issue as long as the defense continues rolling as it has.

Considering the success that Texas State has had against its conference rivals, it's hard not to like the Bobcats winning their first Sun Belt Championship in school history.
