When the Minnesota Vikings traded Stefon Diggs away to the Buffalo Bills for a host of NFL Draft picks earlier this March, it made some of the biggest initial waves of the 2020 NFL offseason.
While the league-wide impact of this deal was quickly buried by other moves such as Tom Brady's departure from New England or the Houston Texans dealing DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals, the excitement about this Diggs acquisition is still humming in Buffalo.
Unfortunately for most NFL fans, including those in Buffalo, we haven't been able to see many of each franchise's new players suit up in their new colors yet, for obvious reasons. However, Diggs took his Instagram account to give his new fans in Buffalo a sneak peek of what they'll see in No. 14 on the field this year.
Buffalo finished the 2019 season ranked No. 27 in the NFL for passing yards per game, averaging only 204.8 per contest on the year. The Bills have been lacking a true WR1 weapon to pair with quarterback Josh Allen ever since they drafted him in 2018, and it finally looks like they've patched this hole with a solid option in Diggs.
John Brown and his 1,000-plus yard breakout season was a pleasant surprise last year, but it only seems fair to expect that production to taper as he enters his age-30 season in 2020. Nonetheless, any continued productivity from Brown paired alongside Diggs should help open things up even more through the air.
