After rushing for over 6,000 yards in three seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers, Taylor was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Colts. While he started his rookie campaign slowly, he became more comfortable as the season went on. Once the season was over, Taylor's finished with 1,169 rushing yards (3rd) and 11 touchdowns (T-7th). That's not even to mention how he absolutely demolished the Jacksonville Jaguars in a Week 17 meeting that saw him record 254 total yards from scrimmage and 2 touchdowns.

Sports Illustrated's Conor Orr said that the Colts' run-friendly offense coupled with new No. 1 quarterback Carson Wentz's mobility could spell success for Taylor in 2021. The truth is that he may not be wrong. The Colts did average 187.7 rushing yards per game over their final three games of 2020, which ranked 2nd during that span.
Regardless of whether Taylor makes the Pro Bowl or not, the Colts are expected to be a playoff team once again in 2021. FanDuel Sportsbook has listed their odds of qualifying at -194. Looking at the team's Super Bowl odds, Indianapolis ranks 10th (+2500) against the rest of the field.
