SEC Championship Odds: Alabama Tops Georgia in Early College Football Odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
A decade of dominance continues for Alabama and head coach Nick Saban, who has won three national titles in the last six years. However, the Alabama Crimson Tide (-150) have a major SEC rival in 2021 as the Georgia Bulldogs (+180) rate a top team as well, according to SEC Championship college football odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.
SEC Odds 2021
Alabama annually loses top talent to the NFL Draft, and 2021 is no different. For the second straight year, an Alabama quarterback was taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. Now, QB Bryce Young takes over, and he's already a top-five choice by the FanDuel Sportsbook's odds to win the Heisman Trophy.
But Georgia has an even higher rated quarterback returning as starter in JT Daniels. The Bulldogs look loaded again with top talent and defensive stalwarts that helped Georgia be the No. 2 ranked defense in the SEC last season.
Georgia may be better than the team that finished No. 7 in the final AP Poll last season, and perhaps a little disrespected despite a solid SEC standing under head coach Kirby Smart.
The Bulldogs have a top-five recruiting class in Athens this season, while Alabama has the No. 1 class heading to Tuscaloosa, according to 247 Sports. The two powerhouses look destined to clash in the SEC Championship this season.
Here's a look at the rest of the odds to win the SEC in 2021, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
