It's been a tough go for Buffalo Bills fans as of late after the team was eliminated from the NFL Playoffs in a closely contested Divisional Round battle. Head coach Sean McDermott did share some good news as cornerback Tre'Davious White remains on schedule in his return from a torn ACL.

Tre'Davious White Injury Update

McDermott explained in his latest press conference that White has been at the team facility working through the rehab almost every day. The All-Pro cornerback was one of a few key pieces missing from Buffalo's defense against the Chiefs. The Bills ended up giving up 42 points in an overtime loss.

White was originally placed on the injured reserve back in November and eventually underwent surgery to fix his knee. It's worth keeping an eye on White' status once the Bills get going in training camp in a few months from now. Having him back on the field in Week 1 of the new season would be a huge boost.

The former LSU standout was a ballhawk for this defense in 2021. White was all over the field and posted 0.5 sack, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery across 11 games before going down. He also broke up 6 passes and was on pace to set a career-high mark in tackles.

The Bills head into 2022 with high hopes and the Lombardi Trophy on their minds. Buffalo should be looked at as a true threat to win their first AFC Conference title since 1993.
