The Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions surprised a lot of people over the weekend with one of Week 4's most explosive games. The two sides combined for a whopping 93 points in the shootout that saw the Seahawks win 48-45 in a game where they didn't even make a single punt.
After the game, Seattle's Twitter account had some fun with the first puntless game in franchise history. The Seahawks tweeted out that they'd "like to file a missing punter report," along with punter Michael Dickson's face on a milk carton.

The Seahawks saw a total of nine offensive possessions against the Lions. Five of those drives resulted in touchdowns and another two ended in field goals while the odd ones out saw kicker Jason Myers miss a 39-yard try in the third quarter and Geno Smith kneel out for the win in the fourth.
Dickson likely didn't mind getting the night off to rest considering his team won in the end. The Australian punter hasn't missed a single game since his NFL career began in 2018, averaging 47.5 yards on the 305 punts he's made over 69 games.
Besides, Dickson got to sit back and watch Seattle's offense put on a show. The Seahawks racked up 555 total offensive yards in the victory, highlighted by wideout DK Metcalf turning seven receptions into 149 yards, as well as running back Rashaad Penny recording 17 carries for 151 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
The Seahawks had only scored 47 points heading into the weekend, so fans likely welcome the offensive explosion. Still, those types of performances are rare, so expect to see Dickson back on the field in Week 5 when Seattle's faces the New Orleans Saints on the road this Sunday.
Despite this weekend's victory, the Seahawks still have much to prove to oddsmakers. FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists Seattle as the 4.5-point underdog against New Orleans, giving the Saints -115 odds to cover the spread.
