Seahawks Get Great News With Latest Chris Carson Week 12 Injury Update

Chris Carson has been the latest NFL star to miss a bulk of time with a lingering injury. Last night Carson was absent from his fourth straight game, as the Seattle Seahawks were victorious over the Arizona Cardinals. It sounds like this will be his final missed start however.
"Chris (Carson) will play next week (Nov. 30 at Eagles), unless he has a setback," Pete Carroll says. #Seahawks

Carson had been a top running back before his injury, with 4.9 yards per carry in 2020. Underrated since he was drafted, Carson has been a steal for the Seattle franchise, taking over this backfield after Marshawn Lynch with a seamless transition.
It will be a relief for all Seahawks fans if Carson returns. He has become one of the most reliable rushers in the league when he's on the field, averaging 80-plus rushing yards per game the last two seasons. While his ground yardage has been down a bit in 2020 behind a poor offensive line, his receiving totals have gone up steadily each year, reaching 24.5 YPG this season.
Greg Bell asked Pete Carroll if he goes for fourth an inches if Chris Carson is playing and not hurt. "At this point, we don't feel the same" on offense. Says Seahawks are trying to find what they have right now without Carson.

Pete Carroll can't wait to get his RB1 back, with this offense struggling while he's been gone. The Seahawks have lost two out of four games that Carson has been out, and Russell Wilson has been notably worse without him. This news couldn't come quicker for both teammates and fans alike.
