Rob Gronkowski Posts Cryptic Tweet About Possible Retirement

The end of the NFL season didn't go exactly as planned for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it's left the franchise with some pressing questions moving forward. One of those questions surrounds the future of Tom Brady and his possible retirement. But, there's another Hall of Famer that Buccaneers fans are hopeful will stick around for one more run: tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski took to Twitter on Monday to send a 'thank you note' to the organization, fans, and teammates and left a very cryptic message at the end about his possible NFL future.
Year 11 in the books ? What a ride it’s been. Grateful to the Bucs for giving me an opportunity to play another year. To my teammates, thank you for giving everything you had. The sweat we shed & memories made will never be forgotten. Thanks to the #Krewe too ?☠️

Year 12??? ?
Rob Gronkowski Retirement
The message was simple, but oh so confusing, reading "Year 12???" followed by the eye emoji, which is typically reserved for the addition of some mystery or confusion.
Mission accomplished by Gronk.
The 11-year veteran previously called it quits on his football career, one marred by injuries, before Brady's move to Tampa Bay prompted Gronk's return to the NFL. The duo won another Super Bowl together in 2021, but fell short of that goal in this season's Divisional Playoffs.
Unfortunately, injuries will play a major deciding factor for the unstoppable receiving tight end. Gronkowski dealt with a long list of ailments throughout his career, including a fractured vertebrae, two forearm fractures, ankle sprain, bulging disc in his back, torn right MCL and ACL, hamstring pull, herniated disc and concussion.
The entire city of Tampa Bay will be paying close attention to the futures of two of their biggest stars, Brady and Gronk.
