The Baltimore Ravens have been the league's hottest team for a while, but betting odds and power rankings still held them behind the New England Patriots. Now that Baltimore is atop the AFC, they have become the favorite to win the Super Bowl for the first time this season, at +250, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

In what was quickly deemed as the game of the year thus far, the Ravens came away with a three-point victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 courtesy of a walk-off field goal by Justin Tucker, giving Baltimore its eighth win in a row.

Who Have the Ravens Lost to?

The Ravens only two losses on the year came in Week 3 and Week 4 to the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns, respectively, leaving them at 2-2 heading into Week 5. That's when the eight-game winning streak began.

The masses began taking the Ravens seriously following their convincing 37-20 win over the Patriots in Week 9. Since that loss, New England won two games by a combined 11 points, and then lost 28-22 to the Houston Texans on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 13.

The Patriots dropped to second in the odds, at +350. Their defense is considered one of best in the league, but their offense is clearly struggling, from inconsistencies in the offensive line to the lack of reliable playmakers around Tom Brady.

Rounding out the top five in the odds to win the Super Bowl is the New Orleans Saints (+550), the 49ers (+800) and both the Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks are tied at +1200.
