The early part of the 2022 season is putting the Las Vegas Raiders' depth to the test. Several defensive players are nursing injuries heading into Week 3, including linebacker Denzel Perryman, who was forced to sit out the last contest with an ankle issue.

Given the hole Perryman's absence creates, Las Vegas hosted a veteran LB for a visit on Friday.

Blake Martinez Raiders

Blake Martinez was seen visiting Las Vegas ahead of the weekend. The experienced linebacker is garnering plenty of interest with injuries popping around the league, as the Baltimore Ravens also recently met with him.

Martinez could give the Raiders an experienced option to shore up their depth. Though he only played in three games in 2021, he started all 16 games from 2017-2020 for the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants.

Though it'd be a quick turnaround for Martinez to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, he already knowns defensive coordinator Patrick Graham's scheme thanks to their days with the Giants, which could allow him to make an impact right away.

The Raiders and Titans are both heading into their clash hampered by the injury bug. Las Vegas is a slim 1.5-point road favorite for that meeting, according to FanDuel Sportbook's NFL odds.
