Raiders Get Bad News With Darren Waller Injury Update Before Week 13
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is currently dealing with a knee injury suffered on Thanksgiving. Waller is considered week-to-week by the team, which could put his playing status in jeopardy down the stretch.
Now the Raiders have received some bad news on Waller ahead of Week 13.
Darren Waller Injury Update
Waller has been designated as out for Sunday's game against the Washington Football Team. It's not a surprising development after he sat out of practice all week and was already listed as doubtful, though it's still disappointing.
Derek Carr will certainly miss his star tight end on Sunday. Waller leads the team in targets with 84, and he's second in both receptions (53) and yards (643).
Las Vegas will look to ride the momentum from its Thanksgiving Day upset over the Dallas Cowboys and keep rolling in Week 13. Foster Moreau, who has 12 receptions for 135 yards and 2 TDs this season, is set to fill the void left behind by Waller.
The Raiders are 1.5-point favorites over Washington ahead of Sunday's game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
