Pittsburgh Steelers Being Disrespected by Odds to Win Super Bowl 56

The Pittsburgh Steelers are accustomed to greatness, which makes their abrupt playoff exit in the Wild Card Round sting. Losing to the Cleveland Browns makes that loss hurt even more.
Pittsburgh will look to turn it around in 2021 with one of the league's top defenses. The offense has several questions to be answered, from quarterback to impending free agents, but this is still a team that should contend next season.
And yet, the Steelers' odds to win Super Bowl LVI in 2020 are purely disrespectful.

Pittsburgh has +3100 odds to win Super Bowl LVI, per FanDuel Sportbook's NFL futures. That places them in a tie for the 14th-best odds in the entire league, which is absurd on several different levels.
It's crazy that a team likely headed for a rebuild in the New Orleans Saints (+1900) has better odds than the Steelers. Then there are several teams with young quarterbacks -- the Miami Dolphins (+2800) and Los Angeles Chargers (+3100) -- who are in a similar range as Pittsburgh, yet have unproven young QBs when it comes to playoff success.
Ben Roethlisberger has two Super Bowl rings for a reason, and even if he's in the twilight of his career, the Steelers will put a team around him that sets Pittsburgh up to bounce back in 2021.
And on defense, few in the league can match the Steelers' talent. This group, led by Defensive Player of the Year candidate TJ Watt, finished No. 1 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric in 2020.
Pittsburgh's stock is low after their Wild Card loss. But with an offseason to fix the team's shortcomings, they should be able to prove the doubters wrong in 2021.
