The Green Bay Packers are left looking for a true No. 1 wide receiver after trading Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Fortunately, the 2022 NFL Draft is coming up next month, where they can hopefuly find a solution to their problems.

It doesn't seem like the Packers are wasting time when it comes to finding Adams' replacement through April's draft. ProFootballFocus' Doug Kyed reported Thursday that Green Bay has already set up a meeting with one of the top wide receivers in the 2022 class.

Packers NFL Draft

Arkansas' Treylon Burks — a projected first-round talent — is set to meet with the Packers sometime during the Top 30 visit window, according to Kyed. Green Bay holds the No. 22 and 28 picks in the first round, giving them multiple opportunities to select the Razorbacks wideout.

This isn't the first time that Burks has been linked with the Packers. ESPN's Mel Kiper projected Green Bay drafting the Arkansas standout in his latest 2022 NFL mock draft earlier this week.

Burks enjoyed the best season of his collegiate career last fall. He suited up in 12 games for Arkansas, finishing his junior campaign with 66 receptions, 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns. Adams' 169 targets from last year have to go to someone in 2022 and Burks has the tools to make the most out of them as a rookie.

What makes the 22-year-old WR such an enticing pick is that, at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, he's already bigger than Adams. That doesn't mean that he'll be better than the latter (especially not any time soon), but it does mean that Burks fits the bill of a bigger wideout that Rodgers has been looking for.

Without a clear-cut No. 1 WR on the roster, the Packers will need someone of Burks' talents to keep them as a championship contender in 2022. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently giving them +1100 odds (T-No. 4) to win Super Bowl LVII, but that could change if they don't find Rodgers more help.
