The NFL world moves quickly. Just days after elimination from the playoffs, the Green Bay Packers are already preparing for the 2022-23 campaign. Current offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is a major player in at least one head coaching vacancy, which leaves the franchise with some pressing needs outside of the Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams' futures.

Fortunately, head coach Matt LaFleur already has a plan for the team's next OC if Hackett does find a head coaching gig elsewhere.

LaFleur has already spoken to media as if the team is operating under a mindset that Hackett will leave, adding that the team will look to promote from within for the open OC position.

Passing game coordinator Luke Getsy is the most obvious in-house selection, considering his success working with Aaron Rodgers and interest from other teams around the league for open OC and HC positions.

Getsy has worked with the Packers for seven years and was promoted to the passing game coordinator position in 2020, leading the offense lead the league in scoring (31.8 ppg) and set an NFL record for red-zone touchdown percentage (80%).
