Injuries have played a huge role in the Denver Broncos' disappointing 2022 season. Those woes are improving, but there are still a few key players nursing issues heading into Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans.
Now it turns out one contributor is already expected to miss Sunday's contest.
Denver Broncos News
Troy Renck of Denver 7 reports wide receiver K.J. Hamler will not play in Week 10. Hamler sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday's practice, and it appears significant enough to quickly rule him out for Sunday's matchup.
Though Hamler's production hasn't been consistent this year, he plays an important role as a speedy deep threat capable of breaking off big plays. He's made just 7 receptions in 2022, but he's averaging 23.6 yards per catch, showcasing his potential to pick up huge chunks at a time.
With Hamler out and Tim Patrick on the injured reserve list, Denver will have a shorthanded WR room heading into Sunday's contest. That helps explain why the Broncos are listed as 2.5-point road underdogs in Week 10 on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
