Now that two of golf's 2019 majors are already in the books, with Tiger Woods winning the Masters and Brooks Koepka winning the PGA Championship, we look ahead to the U.S. Open, set to begin on Thursday, June 16 at Pebble Beach.

While Koepka and Tiger won the first two majors, Dustin Johnson is actually tied for the best odds to win the U.S. Open with Koepka at +750, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Woods holds the second-best odds at +1000 (10/1). All three of them are followed by two other big names in Rory McIlroy (12/1) and Jordan Spieth (17/1).

Though Spieth has struggled for much of the past two seasons, he showed some signs of life at the PGA Championship, finishing tied for third place, which is likely a big contributor to his odds being this high for the U.S. Open.

The U.S. Open is often considered as golf's most difficult tournament. So, even with a field full of the world's top players, the difficulties it presents year over year have proven almost anyone can land their hands on the U.S. Open Trophy cup come Sunday evening.
