Noah Fant Stats
Noah Fant never really put up gaudy numbers in college, but his eye-popping performance at the 2019 NFL Combine certainly got scouts talking. Despite weighing in at 249 pounds, Fant ran a 4.50 40-yard dash – the fastest time of any tight end. Fant's speed and athleticism could make him a dynamic threat in the passing game at the NFL level, provided he's featured more often than he was at Iowa.
In the 2017-18 season, Fant caught 30 passes for a total of 494 yards and 11 touchdowns. The following season, Fant caught 39 balls, tallying 519 yards and seven touchdowns. This isn't the type of production you'd expect from a potential first-round pick, but it's worth noting he had to share the field with T.J. Hockenson, who is widely considered to be the top tight end in the draft.

Noah Fant Draft Predictions
Green Bay Packers (No. 30), New England Patriots (No. 32)
The Green Bay Packers spent a ton of money improving their defense in free agency, so they figure to look for offensive upgrades in the NFL Draft. Green Bay has cycled through numerous tight ends in the Aaron Rodgers era, and drafting Fant could finally give them stability at the position.
On the other hand, Rob Gronkowski recently announced his retirement from football, which creates a huge void at tight end for the New England Patriots. Fant would be the ideal replacement, as his speed could inject new life into a Patriots' passing game that is in dire need of an athletic playmaker. If Fant is still on the board by the No. 32 pick, don't be surprised if New England rushes to the podium to snag him.
