Due to positive COVID-19 cases in the New England Patriots locker room, the game with the Denver Broncos had been pushed to Week 6, giving both teams time to get healthy. However, the injury update for Broncos tight end Noah Fant shows he will need a bit more time before returning to the field.

The last time we saw Fant was when he left the game against the New York Jets with an ankle injury. Two weeks later, Fant is still not ready to re-join the lineup. His absence is expected to mean a boost in usage for the rest of Denver's pass-catchers.

Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick should see an uptick in targets, and Phillip Lindsay should be looking at some increased usage in the passing game as well, now that Melvin Gordon has been ruled out.

Jake Butt appears set to take over for Fant, but he's not someone to target unless you're playing in an incredibly deep league.
