NL Cy Young Odds: Jacob deGrom Continues Lead on FanDuel Sportsbook

When it comes to pitching in the 2021 MLB season, no one is coming close to matching Jacob deGrom's dominance. The New York Mets ace is 6-2 through 11 starts this far, recording a mind-blowing 0.54 ERA during that span.

Keeping that in mind, it's no surprise that deGrom continues to be FanDuel Sportsbook's favorite to win this season's National League Cy Young Award — especially with how he's already favored to be named the NL's Most Valuable Player. His odds to win the NL Cy Young Award currently sit at -220, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. If he's successful, he'll become the 11th player to win the Cy Young three times.

At this point, it looks like the only thing that will stop deGrom is injuries. He's dealt with some minor ones this year already, and even had to leave his most recent start due to some elbow discomfort. Thankfully, it doesn't appear to be anything too serious.

Even though it's pretty much a one-man race, Milwaukee Brewers righty Brandon Woodruff has the second-best NL Cy Young odds at +700. The 28-year-old has a 5-3 record and 1.94 ERA through 14 starts, leading the league with 0.761 WHIP. Corbin Burnes, Woodruff's teammate, rounds out the top-three in the odds as he sits at +800. He's 3-4 on the season with a 2.27 ERA and nearly threw a no-hitter earlier this campaign.
