NFL Draft Predictions for the Cleveland Browns in the Second Round

The Cleveland Browns have been the talk of the NFL this offseason, as they've made a plethora of huge moves, headlined by the acquisition of superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Although the trade for Beckham cost Cleveland its first-round pick, there are still a bunch of talented prospects who could be available for the Browns at pick No. 49.
Here are three players who the Browns could draft in the second round.
3. Darnell Savage, S, Maryland
Safety was an issue for the Browns last season. While they added safety Morgan Burnett this offseason, he doesn't look like a long-term solution. Thankfully, the 2019 NFL Draft is loaded with talent at the safety position. Someone like Darnell Savage could bring added physicality to the Browns' secondary, and he could be available when Cleveland is on the clock in the second round.
2. Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
After parting ways with Jamie Collins, the Browns could use some more depth at linebacker. Mack Wilson's film is inconsistent, but he's versatile enough to contribute in both pass coverage and the run game. Cleveland already has a devastating pass rush, so adding some talent at linebacker could give the Browns an intimidating front seven.
1. Greedy Williams, CB, LSU
Greedy Williams is often projected toward the end of the first round, but his stock has been slipping as of late. If Greedy falls to pick No. 49, he'd be an excellent fit alongside the Browns' star cornerback Denzel Ward. Greedy is an excellent athelete, and he could really help the Browns if he's able to improve his technique.
