NFC Championship History

The 49ers have appeared in 16 previous Conference Championship games, and have gone 7-9 in those contests. They've appeared in the NFC Championship in each of their past five NFL Playoffs appearances, including a Super Bowl appearance back in 2019.

The Rams will make their 11th trip to the NFC Championship this year, having gone 4-6 in their previous 10 trips. Los Angeles last appeared in the NFC Championship during the 2018-19 season, where they advanced to a Super Bowl date (a loss) with the New England Patriots.

49ers vs Rams Weather

The forecast for Inglewood or Los Angeles calls for a high of 71 degrees, with a low of 48 during game time. Fortunately, wind, rain and temperature won't play a factor as SoFi Stadium is a dome. SoFi Stadium will also play host to Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022.
