NBA Finals Odds Becomes 3-Way Tie Between Bucks, Lakers and Clippers

The NBA might be more wide open this season than it has been for the better part of a decade. While there's no clear favorite any more, the odds suggest that there's a pretty defined top three.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers (+320) are in a three-way tie atop the odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

It's not hard to see why these three have separated themselves, either.

The Bucks (36-6) and Lakers (33-8) have the best records in the East and West, respectively, while the Clippers should benefit from having the dynamic tandem of Paul George and reigning NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard in the playoffs.

Following those three, the Houston Rockets check in with the fourth-best odds (+950) while the Philadelphia 76ers (+1200) round out the top five.

The Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz are interesting dark-horse candidates, as both are currently tied at +1800. Boston certainly has a chance to prove it belongs tonight, as the Celtics face the Bucks in Milwaukee, and the Jazz have been on an absolute tear during their 10-game winning streak.

Even though there's a pretty well-defined top three, we're only about half way through the season, and there's plenty of time left for an impactful trade or a late-season run to shake up these odds.
