NBA FanDuel Fantasy Basketball Picks Tonight for 2/22/2021

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA

Damian Lillard Fantasy

Target Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers ($10,500): Damian Lillard is coming off four straight games with 50-plus FanDuel points, and two of his top five fantasy performances this year have been in his last two games. Now he gets a matchup with the Phoenix Suns which has a slate-high 227.5-point over/under by FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. Dame has put up 27.3 field goal attempts (including 14.5 3-point attempts) per game over his last four, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.

Zach LaVine Fantasy

Target Zach LaVine, SG, Chicago Bulls ($9,800): Tonight's Houston Rockets vs Chicago Bulls matchup should be one of the best on the slate for fantasy purposes. The Bulls and Rockets rank third and fourth in the NBA in pace, respectively, meaning both teams should be in for a ton of possessions tonight. LaVine is seeing more than enough playing time to take full advantage of this matchup, going over 37 minutes in four of his last seven contests. He also dropped 52.3 FanDuel points in his lone meeting with the Rockets earlier this season.

Eric Gordon Fantasy

Target Eric Gordon, SG, Houston Rockets ($5,300): Keeping it in that Rockets-Bulls game, Eric Gordon's salary remains surprisingly low. He's topped 27 FanDuel points in five of his last seven, averaging 31.4 FanDuel points in 32.7 minutes per game over that stretch. There's no reason he should be this cheap, especially in such a fantasy-friendly matchup.

Jimmy Butler Fantasy

Avoid Jimmy Butler, SF, Miami Heat ($9,200): On the other end of the spectrum, today's Miami Heat-Oklahoma City Thunder matchup has just a 212-point over/under. Jimmy Butler has topped 50 FanDuel points just once in his last five, and you're better off spending up for a player in a more exciting matchup.

John Wall Fantasy

Avoid John Wall, PG, Houston Rockets ($8,500): While we want to target the Rockets-Bulls game, that doesn't mean everyone in that matchup is in play. John Wall's playing time hasn't been anything special lately, and he hasn't hit even 36 minutes in a single game since January 6th. At $8.5k you really want his fantasy points reaching at least the low-40's, but he's fallen below 40 FanDuel points in nine of the 12 games since his last multi-game absence.
