FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA
Bradley Beal Fantasy
Target Bradley Beal ($10,300), SG, Washington Wizards: Bradley Beal is the fourth-most expensive player on the slate tonight, but he's a much better option than the top three. For one, Kawhi Leonard ($10,800) has been ruled out, and both Trae Young ($10,600) and Clint Capella ($10,500) are in danger of sitting as well. Beal has been a monster this season, leading the NBA in points per game at 34.5 while putting up an average of 50.8 FanDuel points per contest. The Houston Rockets' defense doesn't exactly scare anyone, either. If you're paying up for a big-name stud tonight, Beal is your man.
Victor Oladipo Fantasy
Target Victor Oladipo ($8,800), SG, Houston Rockets: Keeping it with this Wizards-Rockets clash, Beal's opponent Victor Oladipo looks to be a nice value as well. In three games with Houston, Oladipo is averaging 22.3 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 6.0 APG with 2.0 SPG and 0.7 BPG. His efficiency leaves a lot to be desired, with 39.3/30.0/76.5% shooting splits, but that doesn't matter in DFS. Against a Wizards team that plays at the fastest pace in the NBA, Oladipo should have plenty of chances to fill up the stat sheet. Plus, no team allows more fantasy production to opposing shooting guards than the Wizards, who also just so happen to be the NBA's worst scoring defense (121.3 PPG).
Marcus Morris Fantasy
Target Marcus Morris ($5,000), SF, Los Angeles Clippers: As mentioned above, Leonard has been ruled out, but so has his running-mate Paul George. Considering both have a usage rate above 28.0%, there should be a lot of touches to go around for Los Angeles tonight. Marcus Morris and Lou Williams ($6,000) should be the Clippers' primary sources of offense, but Morris is cheaper and does more to fill the stat sheet than Williams. Morris should be a nice low-cost value against a beatable Atlanta defense.
Julius Randle Fantasy
Avoid Julius Randle ($9,100), PF, New York Knicks: Julius Randle has been a revelation this season, averaging career highs pretty much across the board while piling up 44.8 FanDuel points per contest. He's also the second-most expensive PF on the slate tonight, and draws a brutal matchup. The Utah Jazz are a top-three scoring defense (106.1 PPG), allow bottom-seven production to power forwards and play at a bottom-10 pace in the NBA. Likely to see plenty of Rudy Gobert tonight, it's tough to justify Randle's hefty price tag.
Donovan Mitchell Fantasy
Avoid Donovan Mitchell ($8,500), SG, Utah Jazz: Staying with this Knicks-Jazz clash, this just isn't a matchup that's conducive to fantasy production. New York (No. 1) and Utah (No. 3) are both top-three scoring defenses who play at a bottom-10 pace (New York No. 30; Utah No. 21). Tom Thibodeau's Knicks also surrender bottom-two production to opposing shooting guards. Nothing against Donovan Mitchell, but this matchup doesn't bode well for him. You're better of paying up for one (or both) of the other two shooting guards we recommended and staying away from Mitchell, who only managed 27.8 FanDuel points the last time he faced this team.
