NBA DFS 2/10/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Thursday, 2/10, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 2/10

Luka Doncic Fantasy

Target Luka Doncic, PG/SG, Dallas Mavericks ($11,200): Luka Doncic is surging as of late, averaging a whopping 31.6 points, 11.6 assists and 9.6 rebounds over the last five games. His early struggles appear to be a thing of the past as he gets back to being a nightly triple-double threat. Doncic draws a fantastic matchup in the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, who have given up 118.8 PPG over their last five contests. LA also allows the second-most RPG to opponents, so Doncic is in prime position for a huge night in the box score.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Fantasy

Target Jaren Jackson Jr., PF/C, Memphis Grizzlies ($8,100): Jaren Jackson Jr. has picked it up on the boards recently, giving his fantasy upside a boost. In addition to a great 24.3 PPG over the last three games, JJJ has added 9.0 RPG, far outpacing the 6.0 mark he's put up over the season. He should easily secure a plump double-double against the Detroit Pistons, who give up the sixth-most PPG and fifth-most RPG.

Jaxson Hayes Fantasy

Target Jaxson Hayes, PF, New Orleans Pelicans ($6,200): Jaxson Hayes has seen a big spike in minutes and he's taking advantage of the opportunity. Hayes, who's averaging 16.4 MPG/8.4 PPG/4.0 RPG this season, is up to 30.9 minutes/16.4 points/7.8 rebounds over the last five contests. Each of his four starts this season have come during this period, and he'll continue to get plenty of run with Willy Hernangomez injured and New Orleans short-handed due to trades.

Christian Wood Fantasy

Avoid Christian Wood, PF/C, Houston Rockets ($8,200): Inconsistency has plagued Christian Wood from true fantasy star status this season, and he finds himself in a lackluster stretch right now. Wood hasn't notched more than 40 FanDuel fantasy points since Feb. 2, and he's recorded just one double-double over his last three outings. The big man depends on the boards (10.3 RPG this season) to remain fantasy relevant, so his struggles have prevented him from providing a real boom for your buck. Facing Pascal Siakam and a Toronto Raptors team that slows the game down by playing at the league's fourth-slowest pace, Wood could disappoint at his price.

Jonas Valanciunas Fantasy

Avoid Jonas Valanciunas, C, New Orleans Pelicans ($7,000): Earlier in the season, Jonas Valanciunas would've been a bargain at this price. He's on a concerning downward trend, though. The big man's PPG (15.6) has dipped from his season average (18.1) over the past five games, and so has his RPG (8.4, down from 11.6). The nightly double-double threat's current struggles on the boards make him a less-than-appetizing play.
