NBA Championship Odds Update Sees Nets Slide While Lakers Remain on Top

One month into the 2020-21 NBA season and we've seen some surprises, trades, injuries and top teams rise up as expected. We've also seen an adjustment in the NBA Championship odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

It's no surprise to see the Los Angeles Lakers (+270) are still the favorites to win the NBA Title. The Lakers are 13-4 in in the Pacific division and undefeated (9-0) on the road.

The Los Angeles Clippers are keeping pace with the Lakers, and their +600 odds rank No. 3 in the nBA.

The Brooklyn Nets odds skyrocketed after acquiring James Harden from the Houston Rockets nearly two weeks ago. The Nets (10-8) saw their odds peak as high as +270, but they've since fallen to +320. That's still good for No. 2 in the NBA.

In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks (+700) have dropped slightly since the start of the season, and the falloff in NBA odds to the next tier of teams is significant.

The Utah Jazz (+1600) have made the biggest move since the season started when they were +3600 to win the NBA Championship.

The Rockets odds dropped from +7000 to +12000 with the trade of Harden, and Houston joins the bottom half of the league with NBA Championship odds of +10000 or greater.
