NBA All-Star Weekend is nearly here, and the excitement is ramping up ahead of February's All-Star Game. After revealing the captains and starters for the Eastern and Western conferences, the All-Star reserves will be announced this week.

The five starters for the Eastern and Western conferences have been set. These players earned their spots as starters by a vote that involved input from fans, players and media.

East All-Star Starters

• Joel Embiid
• Trae Young

West All-Star Starters

• LeBron James
• Nikola Jokic
• Andree Wiggins
• Stephen Curry
• Ja Morant

Who Are the All-Star Captains 2022?

Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets (Eastern Conference) and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers (Western Conference) will serve as captains for the All-Star Game. As the voting leaders, they will draft their teams from the remaining starters and reserves on Feb. 10.

NBA All-Star Game Coaches 2022

The Phoenix Suns' Monty Williams will coach Team LeBron in the All-Star Game. The Eastern Conference head coach is TBD and will be awarded to whoever has the best record in the conference by the All-Star cutoff date of Feb. 6.
