The Washington Nationals have had an up-and-down MLB season so far, but they have now won three of their last four games. Washington currently owns a record of 19-23, but the team recently received some bad news regarding outfielder Victor Robles' latest injury update.

Victor Robles Injury Update

Robles went down with ankle injury during the Nationals' matchup against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night of last week. He was originally considered day-to-day until an MRI confirmed he had a sprained ankle, which has caused Washington to place him on the Injured List.

This is bad timing for Robles given he had recorded two hits in three of his last six games and was just starting to heat up. Overall, Robles has a slash line of .246/.348/.325 on the season. He has racked up 11 runs scored and 5 RBI.

Losing any starter is tough for an MLB team and Washington must now work to fill in the gap. Veteran utility man Josh Harrison is expected to see more playing time in center field as a result of Robles' injury. He has been solid so far this season with four home runs and 18 RBI.

The Nationals currently have odds set at +1700 to win the National League East division, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. We'll see if they can get things going and surprise some people as the MLB season rolls on.
