The Clemson Tigers are one of the few teams with legitimate National Championship hopes heading into the 2021 college football season. While the Tigers dropped the ball in the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State and will see Trevor Lawrence depart for the NFL Draft, the team is primed to bounce back in 2021.

After bringing in another top recruiting class, Clemson remains one of the favorites in the odds to win the National Championship, per FanDuel Sportbook's college football futures.

The Tigers sit second in the odds to win the National Championship at +400, remaining steady from a couple of weeks ago. They only trail the Alabama Crimson Tide, who increased slightly from +350 to +250 following signing day.

Clemson's 2021 recruiting class ranked fifth in the nation, per 247Sports. They boast three 5-star recruits and a whopping 14 4-star recruits, giving head coach Dabo Swinney plenty of talent to reload this contender with.

The Tigers will head into 2021 with Heisman Trophy contender DJ Uiagalelei under center and a roster full of playmakers, setting them up to avenge their CFP Semifinal loss last season.
