While training camp is a crucial beginning to the season for all 32 NFL teams, it comes with great risk. Year in and year out without fail there are a number of players on multiple teams that suffer some sort on injury that either derails their entire season, or at least the start of it. All during a time that doesn't "count."

Your hope is that you come out of training camp without a main piece of your team suffering a serious injury, or any at all. This is why Pittsburgh Steelers starting running back Najee Harris being checked out by the medical staff is so concerning.

Najee Harris Injury Update

The young RB was seen on the sidelines Monday afternoon at Steelers practice being tended to by the Steelers trainers, specifically his left foot. Not a great spot for an injury on a running back.

Harris struggled with efficiency as a rookie but he was an absolute workhorse, eery-down back that made major contributions in both the rushing and passing attack. He rushed the ball over 300 times and garnered 1,200 yards on the ground. He added in 74 catches and 467 yards through the air.

There is no official word on the severity or much on specifics of Harris' foot, but its certainly something to closely monitor, especially with how valuable Harris will be to a new and/or rookie QB in Pittsburgh this season.

The steelers are currently +7000 to win the Super Bowl this season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds.
