Myles Gaskin is looking like one of the surprises of the 2020 season. After playing 63 percent of the Miami Dolphins' snaps in Week 1, he played 65 percent in Week 2. Having apparently solidified his role as Miami's lead back, Gaskin is a really interesting option off the waiver wire.

Myles Gaskin Fantasy Outlook

Gaskin has now scored double-digit points in back-to-back weeks in PPR formats. While he's been solid on the ground (combined 16 carries for 86 yards) it's his work as a receiver that makes him valuable in fantasy.

The Dolphins' RB1 has seen 11 targets on the season, averaging 5.5 per game. In fact, he's one of only four running backs that has seen 11 or more targets thus far. The other names on that list are Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott and Giovanni Bernard.

He's also been pretty efficient, averaging a stellar 5.7 yards per touch.

If Gaskin maintains this workload the rest of the way, the combination of rushing and receiving volume makes him a really compelling target. He's got low-end RB2 potential, but Gaskin is best viewed as a FLEX option for now.
