One of the first sports organizations to get back up and running this spring, the UFC will have a quick turnaround following an exciting UFC 249 card. The UFC is back in action with another fight night on Wednesday, May 13 — UFC on ESPN: Smith vs Teixeira.

Fantasy sites have been quick to embrace the return of the UFC, rolling out plenty of contests to give you your fantasy sports fix in the absence of other events.

UFC Fantasy Picks

Glover Teixeira (vs. Anthony Smith)
This is the only five-round fight on the card, so you're going to want to have one of these two in just about any fantasy lineup you build. Anthony Smith is a popular pick to win and is one of the highest-priced fighters on the card despite being a relatively modest favorite (-184 on FanDuel Sportsbook). Teixeira fights at a relatively high pace for a light heavyweight (3.41 significant strikes landed per minute, 2.00 takedowns per 15) and has scored 83 percent of his pro wins by either KO/TKO or submission, so his style also lends itself well to scoring fantasy points.

Sijara Eubanks (vs. Sarah Moras)
The highest-priced fighter on the card for a reason, Sijara Eubanks is a huge -350 favorite over Sarah Moras. Sarj has landed at least 75 significant strikes in three of her four UFC fights, also scoring at least 2 takedowns and 2 grappling advances in three of four. Combining that high-output style with the best moneyline odds in the card make her well worth the hefty salary.

Ricky Simon (vs. Ray Borg)
Ricky Simon's fighting style is perfect for fantasy scoring. Four of his five UFC bouts have gone to decision, which isn't always exciting, but in those four fights he scored an average of 4.8 takedowns, 2.8 grappling advances and 43.0 significant strikes per fight. His opponent Ray Borg is also a strong grappler himself, which should translate to a high-pace fight full of opportunities for fantasy points.
