It's hard to believe most ball clubs are less than a week away from being a third of the way through the 2019 MLB season, but the latest odds to win it all should be a prompt reminder that we almost certainly have the most exciting baseball ahead of us.

As we head into today's MLB Memorial Day slate, the Astros have maintained their spot atop the league as the lone betting favorites to win the 2019 World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

With 68 days in the books since this the 2019 season kicked off in Japan, we've already seen the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Astros have a moment at the top of the odds as the favorite to come out of October victorious.

We've also witnessed quite a roller coaster of changes in a handful of early starts by teams like the Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins, but in completely different directions.

The Mariners got off the best record in the baseball at 13-2 this year, but Seattle has limped to a 10-30 split since. Currently sitting 23-32, the Mariners have also lost nine of their last 10 games.

As for the Twins, Minnesota has shockingly put together the best record in baseball through Memorial Day, boasting a 36-16 split. As recently as April 4, Minnesota was eying +5000 odds to win it all this October, but the Twins have since improved to the fifth-best odds to win the World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

We're likely to see many more changes between May and this October, but it's unlikely many people were expecting the Twins to be the hottest team in baseball heading into June.
